Organizations are beginning to understand the power of using workforce analytics to make evidence-based decisions about the management of their talent. An HR function will create a sustainable competitive advantage for the organization by developing the capability to create new insights and engage cross-function stakeholders by linking HR, financial, and operations data; identifying the unique drivers of key workforce outcomes to inform strategy design; developing workforce plans to proactively address future talent needs; and translating data and metrics into actionable, programmatic solutions for implementation.

During this presentation, attendees will take away valuable information that will assist them in unlocking the predictive power of their employee data using workforce analytics.

Gail is a Principal in Mercer’s Workforce Strategy & Analytics practice.  She has more than 14 years of experience at Mercer helping organizations use workforce analytics to improve the management of their human capital. Prior to joining Mercer in 2000, Gail was an assistant professor of economics at The College of Wooster. More recently, she worked as a senior program officer for the National Research Council where she conducted studies of the U.S. geospatial intelligence workforce; the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) workforce in the U.S. Department of Defense and defense industrial base; and the U.S. energy and mining workforce.

Gail received her PhD in economics from Claremont Graduate University and her bachelor’s degree in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
