Lead Anyway: How to Lead in HR (Even if you don't have the title...yet)

This workshop provides clarity, confidence and courage to HR professionals who
may not be leaders in title, but as we all know, HR is a leader, no matter what. This
presentation helps participants to:
- Own their voice and influence across the organization
- Show up with presence in meetings
- Lead change, communicate with confidence and get the respect the role deserves -
- even if manager or director isn't in their title, yet.

Danielle Shroyer is an HR and Leadership Advisor and the founder of Engage HR and the Intentional Leader Program, supporting HR Professionals and New and Emerging Leaders in building their confidence and leading intentionally
She brings over 20 years of big business HR leadership experience to small and medium-sized businesses. Throughout her career, she has been involved in all aspects of HR, mostly as an HR department of 1. Most recently Danielle was the Talent Acquisition Leader at Volvo Cars where her team filled over 1500 positions at the Volvo Cars Charleston Plant. Joining as the third member of the HR department, Danielle implemented US HR policies and procedures while maintaining alignment with Volvo's global culture. She fostered strategic relationships with local military bases and government officials to attract hard-to-find talent and developed comprehensive hiring processes for both hourly and salary employees.
She has a Bachelor’s in HR Management and an MBA with a concentration in HR Management. Danielle lives in Summerville, South Carolina with her fiancé Andy and their 2 pups, Hershey and Charli.
